BLUE LAKES SAFETY AND COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

What Blue Lakes is doing on their part..

First, thank you for being a valued customer of Blue Lakes Charters and Tours. In this time of uncertainty, we want you to know that our #1 concern is and always has been the safety of our passengers and employees. We understand that the rapidly evolving situation with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) can be unnerving, with new information coming to light daily. However, we want you all to know that we are all in this together and we will get through it, but it will take some time. The presidential announcement regarding the European travel ban does not impact domestic US travel at this time. While we are closely monitoring the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Transportation, and other agencies and experts, for current guidance regarding travel, we understand your decision to travel at this time is personal, and many factors are involved. Please be assured that we are committed to doing our utmost to protect you and keep your well-being front and center. Here some of the preventative measures we take: • Our motorcoaches are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each and every trip using top of the line hospital-grade disinfectant cleansers and sprays. Our drivers will also carry an additional supply of the disinfectant spray to be used throughout the coach during the trip when time allows. • We are taking additional precautions to ensure frequently touched areas such as handrails and armrests are given extra attention by our cleaning crew. • We are also installing an additional dispenser of hand sanitizer at the front of the coach. And as much as possible, the drivers will open the fresh air flaps to allow fresh air to circulate from outside the coach. Some state and local governments have declared a state of emergency in their regions. However, this is not necessarily linked to a specific number of coronavirus cases nor a restriction on activities in that area. This is an action to help them obtain access to state or federal funding if needed. Rest assured we will continue to monitor the situation closely. We will provide the latest updates on transportation as it becomes available. We also recommend continuing to follow reputable recommendations from those such as the CDC and the WHO. We appreciate your understanding and trust during this uncertain time.
